






The 59th Myanmar Gems Emporium 2024 continued its 2nd day on Saturday at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw with the presence of Patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi.
The Union Minister oversaw tender opening and display of pearl, jade and gem lots and jewellery and gave necessary instructions. On this 2nd day of the Emporium, 182 pearl lots were sold to local and foreign merchants. On the 3rd day, pearl lots from No. 201 to No. 400 will be sold, it’s reported.
The Myanmar Gems Emporiums have been held since 1964 for selling gems and jade to earn foreign exchange for the State and ensure economic development of citizens. It’s reported that a total of 400 pearl lots, 160 gems lots and 4,550 jade lots will be sold through an open tender system in this 59th Myanmar Gems Emporium 2024 which is set to take place till the 12th of May.
