This salvage is also the first time after 15 years that China has once again carried out the overall salvage of ancient underwater sunken ships. The overall relocation and salvage project of the Yangtze River Estuary No. 2 ancient ship has found more than 600 pieces of ceramics since its preparation. At present, the salvage ship, Fen Li is docked at Hengsha Wharf.After it was salvaged from the water, the cultural relics and archaeology staff will conduct all-round research on topics including formation process, construction technology, and route of the ancient ship site.
