





Kayah State is gearing up for the celebration of upcoming traditional Thingyan Festival, with Yein troupes practicing for the stage performance.
On Thursday, Chief Minister U Sein Oo and concerned officials met with Yein dance troupe undertaking training to be able to perform during Thingyan Festival. The Chief Minister made encouragement, urging them to promote the prestige of the country while preserving nation’s tradition and culture.
As the Thingyan Festival will be held, featuring Walking Thingyan, Thanakha Thingyan and Htamanae Thingyan, the Chief Minster urged all to participate joyously and happily. They also provided nutritious food to the dance coaches and Yein dance troupe. There are 13 departmental Yein Dance Troupes will perform, featuring modern music shows during the Traditional Maha Thingyan Festival organized by Kayah State Government.
