Rice Donations to Nuns : Rakhine State CM attended the ceremony

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, along with his wife, who is the Patron of the State Women's Affairs Organization, together with the Chief Justice of the State High Court, state government ministers and their spouses, and departmental officials, donated alms rice and basic food supplies to nuns from various nunneries in Sittwe on March 24th. The donation took place in front of the Atula Marazein Pyi Lone Chan Tha Pagoda in Sittwe.

 

First, the Chief Minister U Htein Lin and his wife paid homage to the Atula Marazein Pyi Lone Chan Tha Pagoda in Sittwe, offering flowers, oil lamps, and water.

 

Subsequently, Chief Minister, along with his wife, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, state government ministers and their spouses, and departmental officials, donated alms rice and basic food supplies to nuns from various nunneries in Sittwe.

 

Following this, the Chief Minister, accompanied by relevant officials, inspected the progress of the Thamban Chaung excavation project in Sittwe, including both completed works and ongoing activities, as well as the construction of the platform on the main road in Sittwe. He coordinated with responsible officials on necessary matters and toured the sites to review the status of the Thamban Chaung excavation and the platform construction projects.

 

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister attended and delivered an address at the meeting of the Rakhine State Regional Tourism Committee, which was held in the meeting hall of the Rakhine State Government Office, it’s reported.
