Rewards For Gallantry Title Winners: Free rail ticket and round-trip flight ticket granted

Free railway upper-class seats or free round-trip flight ticket per year for areas where railway can’t be accessed will be granted to Military Gallantry and Police Gallantry medal recipients, the Information Team of the National Defence and Security Council announced on April 5.

Those eligible individuals include the recipients of Aung San Thuriya, Thiha Thura, Thura, Ye Thiha and Ye Thura titles as well as their spouses and offspring. Those eligible individuals have to register at nearby Myanma Railway stations along with the evidences of the medals to receive smart cards issued by Myanma Railway which are necessary to exchange for railway and flight tickets at respective departments. The registration date will be announced in near future.
