

The Myanmar Embassy in Seoul of the Republic of Korea has been arranging relief flights once a week for Myanmar nationals and foreigners who are waiting for returning to Myanmar during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Myanmar Airways International is arranged to fly the 76th relief flight on 28th September, 2021.
The relief flight departed from Inchoen International Airport to Yangon International Airport at 4:25 p.m. local time and took a total of 33 passengers including 2 from Austria, one from Italy, one from Philippines2 from South Africa, 10 from United States of America and 16 from the Republic of Korea. The Myanmar Embassy staff in Seoul provided necessary assistance at the airport for the convenience of the passengers taking the relief flight.
Similarly, With the cooperation of Myanmar Embassy in Phnom Penh and Myanmar Airways International, Myanmar nationals present in Cambodia in various circumstances and having difficulties due to the situations amidst the pandemic were brought back by the relief flight of MAI through the Phnom Penh- sihanoukville-Yangon air route at 1:30 p.m. on 28th September.
A total of 125 passengers including 122 Myanmar nationals and 3 foreigners who are in emergency case took the relief flight. Myanmar Ambassador and embassy staff provided necessary assistances for the returnees at the Phnom Penh International Airport.
