


Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan attended pre-monsoon planting ceremony, opening of office building and ceremony to present national registration cards, meetings with the people and principals and health staffs for social, health, education and regional development on 1st June.
First, the Chief Minister and the State cabinet ministers and officials attended 2022 pre-monsoon planting ceremony held at the People’s Park and Sports Ground in Moe Nyin and distributed saplings to district and township level departments.
After that, the Chief Minister and party grew Kantkaw and Eugenia plants. After that, the Chief Minister attended opening ceremony of 4-storey new office building of Township OSS office built with the State fund and viewed around the new facility. He then attended a ceremony to present national registration cards that was implemented through Pan Khin project.
At the event, the Chief Minister said taht more than 190,000 NRC cards could be implemented through the project and Moe Nyin township has issued 25,451 cards. The State Chief Minister and officials then presented 442 NRC cards that has been implemented in April and 89 household lists to local people. The Chief Minister party then looked into COVID-10 vaccination jointly undertaken by the heath staffs, the Red Cross Society and volunteering organizations.
On that day, the Chief Minister met district and township level departments, town elders and ward/village administrators at the city hall and explained about implementation of the State 5-Point Road Map and 9-objectives, establishing a genuine, disciplined flourishing democratic nation, endeavourings for development of agriculture and livestock sectors and socio-economic life of the people, national unity and peace.
At the No.1 Basic Education High School, the Chief Minister held meeting with the district education officer and staffs and called the teachers to nurture healthy and educated citizens for the state. He presented 1 million kyats for the education staffs and fulfilled the needs. After that, he met health staffs at 100-bed People’s hospital in Moe Nyin and provided 1 million kyats for the health staffs and comforted the patients.
At the Moe Nyin District General Administrative Department, the Chief Minister met heads of the State Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department and breeders and discussed meat sufficiency and breeding of quality species, plan to establish model farm for the development of breeding task and providing assistance.
