







A ceremony was held to provide educational assistance to students of the 2024-2025 academic years, the 5-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Course Batch No. 12 of the University for the Development of the National Races of the Union and the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree Colleges (Yangon/Sagaing) at the Tawwin Hamsa Hall of the Bago Region Government Office, on October 31st.
The event began with the introductions by each student from the 5-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Course Batch No. 12 of the University for the Development of the National Races of the Union and the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree Colleges (Yangon/Sagaing).
Following this, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win spoke to the students, emphasizing that they are part of the nation’s human resource development programs prioritized by the government. He encouraged them to diligently fulfill their responsibilities in the areas where they will be appointed after their studies, expressing hope that they would serve the nation faithfully and diligently.
Afterward, Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win provided a grant of 4.6 million kyats to support the students. One student expressed gratitude on behalf of all recipients.
Then, the Chief Minister attended the closing ceremony of the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation-funded Small and Medium-Sized Traditional Aquatic Product Quality Assurance System Development Project (Phase II), held at the Fisheries Training School in Bago. He delivered a speech, followed by a welcome address from U Myint Zint Htoo, Deputy Director General of the Fisheries Department, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation. Project Director U Nyunt Win presented an update on the project's activities through a Power Point presentation.
Attendees also watched a video clip documenting the project’s implementation. A small-scale aquaculture producer expressed gratitude, noting the project’s positive impact on producing safe and high-quality aquatic products. The Chief Minister, officials, and aquaculture producers later took commemorative photos and toured the region's aquatic products while engaging warmly with attendees.
