President’s Office Order 1/2026: Appointment of Union Consultative Council

The President’s Office of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued Order No.1/2026, on 10th April for the appointment of Union Consultative Council, to conduct coordination and render advice relating the issues of Union security, law and order, international relations, peace and the law promulgation.

According to the Union Consultative Council Act, Sections 5 and 6, U Soe Win was appointed as the Chairman and U MaungMaung Aye as the Secretary. It was signed by U Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
