President’s Office Notification 4/2026: Formation of Union Consultative Council

The President’s Office of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued Notification No.4/2026, on 10th April for the formation of Union Consultative Council, to conduct coordination and render advice relating the issues of Union security, law and order, international relations, peace and the law promulgation.

According to the Union Consultative Council Act, Sections 5 and 6, the Council was formed with following persons: U Soe Win as the Chairman, U MaungMaung Aye as the Secretary and 9 members: U Than Swe, U KoKoHlaing, U Moe Aung, Dr. Yin Yin New, Daw Cho ChoKyawNyein, U KoKoGyi, Mann NyeinMaung, DawDwe’ Bu and U Zaw Aye Maung. It was signed by U Min AungHlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
