Power Distribution: Extended generation of electric power discussed

A coordination meeting on power generation and distribution was held at the Ministry of Electric Power in Nay Pyi Taw on 27th May.

Union Minister U Thaung Han discussed that efforts have to be made for extended generation of electric power with the use of different energy resources by laying down the short and long term plans.

He also stressed the needs to make full collection of electricity bills. He also urged to complete the implementations of the projects in the designated time by systematically allocating the budget allotments.

He also called for constant maintenance of the power plants for long term durability. The officials reported on the annual water inflow, storage condition, power generation and distribution as well as the work undertakings and future plans.
