Order No. 255: Extension of Public Holidays till September 10

State Administration Council issued Order No. 255/2021 on the 30th of August.

It states that the State Administration Council has set successive public holidays for the sixth time to head off the infection chains of COVID-19 for the people to adhere to the restricted disciplines during the public holidays.

In order to soonest reach the normal situation by controlling the infection of COVID-19, the notification was announced that the period from the 1st to the 10th of September 2021 was further set as the successive public holidays (except for the Central Bank of Myanmar and its subordinate government banks and private banks under the specific situation) in accord with Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
