Notification No.5/2026 : Formation of the Supreme Court of the Union

President Office issued an Notification No.5/2026 on April 10, regarding the formation of the Supreme Court of the Union.

According to Section 294 of the Constitution, Section 9, Sub-Section(c) of the Union Government, and Section 7 of the Supreme Court of the Union Law, President U Min Aung Hlaing signed the formation of the Supreme Court of the Union, led by U Tha Htay, the Chief Justice of the Union Supreme Court, along with eight judges.
