Myanmar-US Talks: SG Receives Former Governor of New Mexico State

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received the former governor of New Mexico State of the United States of America Mr. Bill Richardson.

In the meeting at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday, the two sides exchanged views on COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures in Myanmar, COVID-19 vaccination programme, reopening of basic education schools in Myanmar as COVID-19 infection rate declines, and plans of the United States for providing COVID-19 vaccines to Myanmar.

Also present at the meeting were Union ministers U Wunna Maung Lwin, U Ko Ko Hlaing and Dr. Thet Khaing Win.
