Myanmar / India: Meeting for bilateral cooperation on traditional medicines

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win who is currently in India for the the Traditional Medicine Conference and Expo of Shanghai Cooperation Organization received the Indian Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush H.E Shri Sarbanada Sonowal.

This meeting on Wednesday evening at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati focused on matters including issues of bilateral cooperation in the development of the traditional medicine sector, Indian traditional medicine experts to teach at the University of Traditional Medicine (Mandalay), study tour exchange, scientific research on traditional medicines and export of quality traditional medicine raw materials to be used in the formulation and production of traditional medicines.

The Union Minister also joined the dinner hosted by the Ministry of Ayush for those there for the Traditional Medicine Conference and Expo of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
