Learning Application: AR Based Grade-1 English Textbook Companion Learning App Donated

The donation ceremony of Argument Reality based Grade-1 English Textbook Companion Learning Application to the Ministry of Education was held at Yangon University of Education on Sunday.

The donation by the 360ed Company is to encourage the country’s education sector through modern technology and to expand the learning tools for education reform.

Chief Executive Officer, 360ed, Hla Hla Win said “We really would like to encourage and also showcase that we are not left behind. We don’t want to be left behind in the education sector. Especially whenever we have smart phones in hands, we have a way to create exponential impact in education through this smart phone technology. And we don’t want to just tell, but how it is possible”

Through the App, students will be able to learn the correct pronunciation and realistic environment at both schools and home. The App will also help the parents assist their children with English lessons. Also, teachers can apply the app as the teaching aids effectively.

Chief Operation Officer, 360ed, San Dar Nyunt Wai said “We are now producing the apps in series like science including Bio, physics and Chemistry for High school level students, English with local and foreign alphabets and Body Literacy for teenagers. We have plans to create further applications for more effective education sector.”

360ed addresses the drastic shortage of teachers, learning materials and learning aids with compelling sets of affordable, innovative and educational tools to engage and enable learning through multimedia features (videos and audios), 2D, 3D, augmented reality, virtual reality hosted on mobile phones and tablets paired with traditional textbooks, flashcards and lab kits.
