





An honor ceremony and a New Year's Eve dinner were held in the afternoon on December 31, 2025, on the upper floor of the Yay Natha Hall, Ministry of Energy, to honor the staff for the successful holding of the Ministry of Energy's 40th Anniversary Ruby Jubilee Ceremony, the Thanlyin Refinery Centennial Ceremony, and the Energy Museum Opening Ceremony.
Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin attended and delivered a congratulatory address. In his congratulatory address, the Union Minister acknowledged and honored that the staff of the Ministry of Energy diligently fulfilled their duties within their respective roles throughout 2025.
He urged them to strive with full effort from 2026 onward and for many years to come for the further development of the country's energy sector. He noted that 2025 marked the 40th Anniversary Ruby Jubilee of the Ministry of Energy and the 100th Anniversary of the Thanlyin Refinery.
To honor this, the Energy Museum was successfully and grandly opened. He expressed gratitude and honor to the Permanent Secretary and all staff who contributed in various ways to the successful conduct of the ceremonies.
He also encouraged them to draw strength from this year's successes and strive for even greater achievements in the coming years. Following this, the Union Minister presented prizes to the first, second, and third prize winners of the New Year's Eve lucky draw.
He also awarded a prize to the Permanent Secretary for leading the successful organization of the 40th Anniversary Ruby Jubilee Ceremony, the Thanlyin Refinery Centennial Ceremony, and the Energy Museum Opening Ceremony.
