







The sixth day of the first regular session of the third Kachin State Hluttaw was held at 10:00 AM on April 9 in the meeting hall of the State Hluttaw office located in Man Khein Ward, Myitkyina.
According to the agenda, regarding the nomination submitted on the fifth day of the session by the appointed Chief Minister of Kachin State for the appointment of the Chief Judge of the Kachin State High Court, Daw Aye Aye Maw, with no objections raised, the State Hluttaw decided to approve her appointment as Chief Judge of the State High Court.
Subsequently, regarding the list of seven ministries and the State ministers, the Kachin State Advocate General, the Kachin State Auditor General, and those appointed as judges of the Kachin State High Court, as proposed on the fifth day of the session by the appointed Chief Minister of Kachin State, with no objections from any Hluttaw representatives, the Hluttaw decided to approve them.
Afterwards, the Speaker of the State Hluttaw clarified the formation of the Committee for Scrutiny of Government Guarantees, Pledges, Undertakings, Complaints, and Petitions, and the Committee for Planning, Finance, and Public Accounts. The Deputy Speaker then clarified the duties, powers, rights, and term of office of these committees.
Continuing, the Speaker of the State Hluttaw presented to the Hluttaw proposals for forming the Committee for Scrutiny of Government Guarantees, Pledges, Undertakings, Complaints, and Petitions with five members, and the Committees for Planning, Finance, and Public Accounts with seven members each, including the lists of members and the names of the committee chairpersons and secretaries. He announced that hluttaw representatives wishing to offer suggestions or discussions could submit their names. The sixth day of the first regular session of the third Kachin State Hluttaw was then adjourned, and the date and time for the seventh day of the first regular session were set, it’s reported.
