Joyous Celebration: Nay Pyi Taw Mayor Maha Thingyan Pandal Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of the Nay Pyi Taw Mayor Maha Thingyan Pandal took place on Saturday, attended by dignitaries including Secretary of the State Administration Council Aung Lin Dwe, SAC members and Union Ministers and their wives.
The festivities began with the recital of the New Year Lyrical Ode, followed by traditional greetings from the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Mayor. Yein Dance Troupes then took the stage, performing to the tune of “MyuHmaung Wai Kin”, followed by a series of entertainment programs featuring Thingyan songs and dances by local vocalists and artists.
Concurrently, the Nay Pyi Taw Thingyan Splash Walk commenced, featuring performances by local talents as well as Korean K-pop groups at the Central Pandal, accompanied by the MRTV modern music troupe.
Additionally, artists from Russia entertained revelers at the Russia-Myanmar Friendship Association Pandal, while the China-Myanmar-India Economic Cooperation Association also participated in the festival.
