Inspection Tour: CM inspects water treatment plants &beautification works

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials made inspections in Dagon Myothit (South) Township, Hmawbi Township and Hlegu Township.

In Dagon Myothit (South) Township, the Chief Minister inspected the LaGunPyin Water Treatment Plant, heard report on the history of the Plant, water storage of large reservoirs in the Region, daily water supply from those large reservoirs into Yangon, water supply system and plans.

At the NgaMoeYeik Water Treatment Plant (Nyaung Hna Pin) in Hmawbi Township, the Chief Minister also heard report and instructed concerned officials to carry out sufficient distribution of drinking water based on the increase in population in the Region before inspecting the plant. In Hlegu Township, the Chief Minister inspected beautification works along the Nyaung Hna Pin NgaSuTaung Road.
