






Ministry of Immigration and Population honoured the Mon State for successful implementation of the Pan Khin Project issuing National Registration cards [NRCs].
Union Minister U Khin Yi, state chief minister U Zaw Lin Tun and many other officials attended the honouring ceremony in Mawlamyaing.
In his address, the Union Minister stressed the importance of National Registration Card for election and rights of National Registration Card holders.
He also expressed words of thanks for the successful implementation of the Pan Khin Project in the State. Also, chief minister U Zaw Lin Tun implementation process of the Project.
Certificates of honour and memorable badges were presented to the officials and staff who made efforts for the Project. Also, some staff were promoted during this ceremony.
In Mon State, over 30,9000 National Registration cards were issued under the Pan Khin Project. It’s learnt that Bago Region, Ayeyawaddy Region, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, Mandalay Region, Tanintharyi Region, Magway Region, Rakhine State and Mon State have successfully implemented the Pan Khin Project so far.
After the ceremony, the Union Minister held a meeting with the Chief Minister and concerned officials and called on cooperation with concerned departments for the correct election list making and e-ID system.
