First Women Scientist Summit at 15th Pujiang Innovation Forum in Shanghai

Themed "Low Carbon: A New Mission for Global Innovation", the 15th Pujiang Innovation Forum kicked off until this weekend. This year, the forum has set up a Women Scientist Summit for the first time.

With the theme of “Embrace A Greener Future: The Power of SHE”, the summit gathers female elites in the field of science and technology at home and abroad, showing their mission, responsibilities and actions.

The congratulatory video from Ye Shuhua, China’s first female observatory director was played at the beginning of the forum.

She said that she hopes female science elites will not only participate in the forum, but also encourage other female scientific and technological researchers to obtain world class achievements in the next ten years.
