Female tortoises laid eggs and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) took care of these eggs and sent to Yadanapon Zoo. When the turtles have hatched, about 100 population have been moved here. After making research on mating and hatching, their growing process could be recorded last year. We also took a pair of golden deer from Mount Popain 2008 and nurtured them. It has also increased to 11. So, we have released safely two deer to Letpadaung mountain area and six deer to ShweSettaw, totaling 8 deer have been released into their original places.”

So, the zoologists can make research if they are interested in the lifestyles of endangered species.
