VP met with Russian Deputy PM : VP U Nyo Saw met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister

Vice President U Nyo Saw met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Yury Petrovich Trutnev in Vladivostok on Tuesday during his visit to attend the 11th Eastern Economic Forum.

They cordially exchanged views on Myanmar-Russia relations, cooperation in education, the Dawei Deep Sea Port and Special Economic Zone project, energy, trade, tourism and the possible opening of a Myanmar Consulate General in Vladivostok.

The Vice President also separately met with Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Forum Organizing Committee, Mr. Anton Kobyakov and Director of the RC-Investments Fund Mr. Alexander Shatirov.

The Vice President was accompanied by Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Ko Ko Lwin, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Ko Ko Kyaw and Deputy Minister for Digital Development and Communications U Min Zeyar Hlaing, Myanmar Ambassador U Myo Moe Aung and other officials.
