Drugs seized: Stimulant tablets seized in Myeik and Tachilek

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force seized 16,000 stimulant tablets from a motorbike on the afternoon of 4 June in Myeik Township, Taninthayi Region.

In addition, 3,600 kilograms of Caffeine was seized from a 6-wheeler truck on the Tachilek-Monghsat road, Loitawkham village, Tachilek Township on 3 June.

It is reported that the persons arrested together with the seized illegal drugs are being prosecuted under the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
