Domestic Flights to Resume: Full Operations as Scheduled Starting March 25

The Ministry of Transport and Communications released a press statement regarding domestic flights to resume full operations as scheduled starting March 25th, 2026.

In the statement, it’s stated that due to challenges with aviation fuel, the state has made arrangements to procure the necessary fuel for airlines to prevent disruptions to air transport services, a form of public transportation.

Domestic airlines, including Myanmar National Airlines, Myanmar Airways International, Mingalar Aviation, Mann Yatanarpon Airlines, and Air Thanlwin, will resume full operations according to their previous flight schedules starting from March 25, 2026. According to the statement, Priority arrangements have been made for mandatory flights to Putao, Myitkyina, Kengtung, Tachileik, Kawthaung, Kyaukphyu, Sittwe, Kalay, Hommalin, and Khamti.
