COVID-19 Update: 2,431 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on September 7

The Ministry of Health is carrying out in momentum to prevent, control and give treatment of COVID-19 spreading in the country.

For achieving success of work process, the public need to Stay at home as much as possible. Wear masks when it comes to go outside without fail. Wash hands frequently. Take distance from each other.

If there are older persons above 65 or those suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and heart in the house, those must be worn masks. The cooperation with great attention to receive the COVID-19 vaccination is needed.

The Ministry of Health reported 2,431 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 25,115 lab specimens within 24 hours. 97 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 2,461 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 420,402 with 16,082 deaths and 368,066 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 39.79 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, Russian Federation, The United Kingdom, France, Turkey, Argentina, Islamic Republic of Iran and Colombia according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 4:53 p.m. Central European Standard Time on September 7, 2021, there have been over 221.13 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 4.57 million deaths, reported to WHO. The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
