COVID-19 Update: 18 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On May 25

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 18new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 7,344 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 8 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,256with 19,434deaths and 592,229COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Italy and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:22pm CEST, 25 May 2022, there have been over 524 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.28 million deaths.
