COVID-19 Update: 16 new COVID-19 cases reported on May 21

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 16 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 7,048 patients within 24 hours. 8 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

As of May 21st, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,219 with 19,434 deaths and 592,174 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
