Covid-19 Update: 1,526 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On October 5

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 1,526 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 18,135 patients within 24 hours.

36 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 1,250 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 471,308 with 17,957 deaths and 425,447 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Iran, Argentina and Spain, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:27pm CEST, 5 October 2021, there have been over 235 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 4.8 million deaths.
