COVID-19 Fight: Daily Imports of Medical Supplies Continue

For the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures, the Ministry of Commerce is making efforts to ensure people have access to the essential medical supplies including liquid oxygen and oxygen cylinders.The Ministry is arranging continuous importation on public holidays as well.

On the 5th of October, two liquid oxygen storage containers, three liquid oxygen distributors, 490 empty oxygen cylinders, 104 oxygen concentrators for home use, 10,000 sets of test kits, 16 tonnes of gloves and 16 tonnes of masks were imported via Muse and Myawaddy trading posts, seaports and Yangon International Airport.
