Coordination meeting: Developments in Nay Pyi Taw Council area discussed

The coordination meeting on the development of agricultural and livestock breeding sectors in the Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory was held at the meeting hall of the Nay Pyi Taw Council Office on 3rd of June with the attendance of Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo, Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Dr. Maung Maung Naing and officials.

First, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Maung Maung Naing said that the development works for the Nay Pyi Taw which is the capital city and completes with the key infrastructures such as road transportation, electricity to be developed as Green City, Clean City and Smart City in accordance with the guidelines of the Chairman of the State Administration Council are being implemented.

By utilizing the land resources in the Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory in productive ways, the development of agricultural production is being implemented.

Next, the attendees from the departments clarified the relevant sector regarding with the development of agricultural and livestock breeding sector in Nay Pyi Taw. In responding the clarifications, the Union Minister U Hla Moe said that the cooperation of the developments is needed for the development of agricultural and livestock breeding sector and the development of crops production of the rural people.

The Union Minister U Tin Htut Oo said that the efforts are to be made by setting the target, the conducting knowledge sharing for the farmers should be addressed and the cooperation for the development of fish and meat sector should be focused.  Then, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman supplemented necessaries in the discussion and gave a conclusion remark.
