The chairman of State Administration Council, Commander in chief of defense services senior general Min Aung Hlaing delivered a remark at the coordination meeting between the state administration council and Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and States and Self-Administration Council Zones Administration Council held at the meeting hall of the office of state administration council chairman on Tuesday.

Present at the meeting were the vice chairman of the state administration council, deputy commander in chief of defense services vice senior general Soe Win and chairmen of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and States and Self-Administered Zones.

In his remark at the meeting, the chairman of state administration council said that the situations of the country are contained in line with the law. As of declaring the state of emergency, the state administration council has been formed and the state duties are being served under the democratic norms with the collective leadership.

Tatmataw has tried repeatedly to solve the voters’ list irregularities under the democratic principles in line with the law, the voters’ list irregularities were enormous and it’s not the common mistake. Although the endeavors made to solve the voters’ list irregularities with the negotiation approach under the democratic principles failed and it ended up at the present situation.

The state constitution (2008) is needed to observe respectfully. The Tatmataw just serves a national duty and works will be done in line with the law. The five work processes of roadmap for the works to be done have been set. The state administration council, regions, states, districts and townships administration councils need to implement those work processes and the ministries need to facilitate.

Works proper and required should be carried out as quickly as possible. Next, the chairmen of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and States and Self-Administered Zones clarified the relevant work implementations and requirements. Regarding with the clarifications, the chairman of state administration council gave the necessary guidelines to carry out the tasks and urged to reduce the development gap between the urban and rural communities and raise the socio-economic life, the civil service personnel need to be being free from party politics, they cannot involve in the politics as they entitled the salary and allowances provided by the state, even in the countries which are more matured in democratic practices, it’s found out that the civil service personnel are free from party politics according to the democratic culture.

They can vote to the preferred party freely, but they cannot involve in the party politics on duty. The action must be taken against those who threaten the civil service personnel who are serving the duty. The chairman of state administration council gave the necessary guidelines to try to create the job opportunity, reopening of the schools, regional development works and reopening the pagodas and temples and religious sites in line with the disciplines against COVID-19.

The regions and states need to perform for acquiring correct household list and national scrutiny card to be correct voters’ list, repatriation of the displaced persons from Bangladesh in line with the bilateral agreement and the 1982 Citizenship Law and to hold the days of significance including the Union Day regularly in line with the disciplines against COVID-19.
