The Union Minister said Myanmar plans to develop a power control system and asked for technical cooperation, including expert support and training.
Russia agreed to send a technical team and provide training assistance. In Guangzhou, China, the delegation visited a large waste-to-energy industrial park that converts municipal waste into electricity. Officials explained the full process from waste sorting and treatment to power generation and supply to the national grid.
The Chinese facility is one of the largest of its kind, processing millions of tons of waste annually and generating over 1.2 billion units of electricity per year. Myanmar asked for technical cooperation and training support, which the Chinese side agreed to consider.
