China-Europe Railway Express Launches the First Export Train to Central Asia

The China-Europe Railway "Shanghai-Express" departed from Shanghai Minhang Freight Station yesterday, and its destination is Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan. This is the sixth train of the "Shanghai Express" this month and also the first export train of Central Asia line.

Shanghai Customs has also opened a special declaration window for the China-Europe freight train to ensure that the goods on the train are inspected and released quickly. Since the official launch of the first train of the China-Europe Railway "Shanghai-Express" in September last year, a total of 35 trains have been launched as of the end of July this year.

At present, there are 9 international operating lines of China-Europe Railway "Shanghai-Express", which directly reach 13 cities in 5 countries along the "Belt and Road".
