Cash Aid: Cash for associations, homes of the Aged, the elderly

Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement has been providing aid to voluntary associations, homes for the Aged and the elderly in regions and states.

During the cash aid provision ceremony in Mandalay, Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khine explained the Ministry’s efforts for the elderly, disasters prevention and response and rights of the children.

She also called for cooperation to provide more aid to vulnerable groups. At the ceremony, over 938 million Kyats for the elderly and over 50 million Kyats for 2 voluntary associations and 12 homes for the Aged.
