Basic Training Course: DISI opens electrical technician training course

The Industrial Inspection Department under the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection held a basic training course for electric technical skills with the aims of safety and capacity enhancement. 

Dr. Myo Htike (Director), Industrial Inspection Department, Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection said "We have opened this training course with the aims of emerging the qualified electricians, for systematically managed the electronic equipments and to reduce the fire hazards caused by electric shock in factory. We hoped that many technicians will emerge by attending this course and electrical knowledge will be enabling to share with our environment by our trainees."

Electrical Experts will provide the training both lecture and practical works.

Dr. Myo Htike (Director), Industrial Inspection Department, Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection said "Course Subjects are measurement of electrics, how to connect the electric cable, transformers, AC – DC and other common electrical knowledge. The Trainers include staffs, former services technicians from our Industrial Inspection Department, teachers from technical university, officials from Myanmar Fire Services Department and Staffs from Myanmar Red Cross Society. We hoped that these courses will provide to turn out the qualified electricians."

The trainees must have at least high school level educations. As Industrial Inspection Department training, 44 training courses were opened and 3698 trainees have attended, it’s reported.
