Artist Xu Bing's giant installation "Gravitational Arena" was unveiled on Thursday at the Museum of Art Pudong (MAP). In the museum's central hall, the 30-meter-high installation features 1,600 English letters made of aluminum that stretch downward due to gravity.

The artist spent two years creating it and said he hopes it motivates people to think deeply on the influence of different cultures.Visitors can enjoy this installation from different scenic spots on five floors.

The installation will be on display for approximately one year. Tickets cost 100 yuan per adult on weekdays and 150 yuan on weekends.

Because of its special exhibition space, the central exhibition hall has become the most experimental site in MAP, which is also unique in the art museums.
