Arms for Peace: 22 armed group members return to legal fold with weapons

A total of 22 individuals, 21 men and 1 woman, including members of PDF, AA Armed Group and others, have returned to the legal fold together with weapons and ammunition. They were received at a ceremony held at the Southern Command, where authorities handed them over to their parents and provided cash rewards and assistance. The group also surrendered various firearms, ammunition, and explosives.

The returnees chose to leave armed groups due to hardships, internal issues, and a desire to live peacefully and contribute to the country. The government also invited others who wish to return to contact nearby administrative offices or security forces for support.
