Aerial Inspections : Land use changes around Inle Lake

Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Min Thu, along with officials, conducted an aerial inspection of land use changes around Inle Lake in Nyaungshwe Township.

They departed from Nay Pyi Taw Airport by an L-410 aircraft and arrived at Heho Airport, where they were briefed by officials. They then carried out aerial inspections by helicopter, focusing on illegal encroachment into forest reserves, unauthorized land use changes, and misuse of government-managed land.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation is accelerating efforts to conserve forests, protect the Inle Lake watershed, and ensure proper land use in accordance with the law. Field inspections will continue to prevent illegal activities.
