2nd Day of 1st Regular Session: 3rd Pyithu Hluttaw convened 2nd Day of 1st regular session

The second day of the first regular session of the third Pyithu Hluttaw was held at 10:00 AM, in the assembly hall of the Pyithu Hluttaw building in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning of March 23.

During the session, the Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker clarified the formation of the Bill Committee, and the Deputy Speaker explained the duties, authorities, rights, term, and committee meetings of the Bill Committee.

Following this, the Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker informed the Hluttaw that the Bill Committee would be formed with 15 members, and that Dr. Nanda Kyaw Swa from Dagon constituency would be appointed as the Chairman of the Bill Committee, and U Thein Tun Oo from Amarapura constituency would be appointed as the Secretary.

Subsequently, the Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker clarified the formation of the Public Accounts Committee, and the Deputy Speaker explained the duties, authorities, rights, term, and committee meetings of the Public Accounts Committee.

After that, the Speaker informed the Hluttaw that the Public Accounts Committee would be formed with 15 members, and that U Teza Kyaw from Aungmyaythazan constituency would be appointed as the Chairman of the Committee, and U Tin Aung Chit from Aunglan constituency would be appointed as the Secretary.

The second day of the first regular session of the third Pyithu Hluttaw was then adjourned, and the third day of the session will be held on March 24 at 10:00 AM, it’s reported.
