Small-Scale Industries: 6th Consumer Goods Production Course opened

Organized by Shan State Small-Scale Industries Department Under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, the opening ceremony of Consumer Goods Production Course (6/2024) was held at the department office in Taunggyi on 25th March.

Speaking on the occasion, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung said that the Small-Scale Industries Department has been providing the vocational training courses for the emergence of small-scale industries, it has been formed Lacquerware Technology College, Saunder's Weaving Institute, 15 regions and states offices, 13 Weaving and Training schools, 40 self-Administered region and district offices, and at the same time, the training will be covering consumer goods production technologies, industrial use chemical products, multipurpose use soap, bar soap, liquid soap, shampoo, body soap, hand wash, dish wash, laundry detergent, Body Shower, Hand Gel, Hand Spray, Body Scrub and glass cleaner from 25th to 29th of March with 30% in theory and 70% in practice.

Continuously, the Chief Minister provided cash of honor for the training and the State Staff Office of Small-Scale Industries Department accepted followed by the observation of displayed raw materials to be used for the training. After that, the Chief Minister and party inspected the construction of City Central Pandal in Taunggyi in order to hold Myanmar Traditional Thingyan Festival and Walking Thingyan where the necessary instructions were also made.
