Social Welfare: MSWRR Union Minister visits Thanlyin

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win, accompanied by officials from the Departments of Social Welfare and Disaster Management paid a visit to Southern District Social Welfare Office and Thanlyin Youth Training School in Yangonon Tuesday.
During the visit, the directors of Social Welfare Office and Youth Training School reported the work undertakings, respectively.
After hearing the reports, the Union Minister instructed the officialto keep systemic record of work operation, open new district offices in 10 townships of Southern District, aiming to carry out social welfare activities widely and to pay special emphasis on cleaning and greening of training schools and related facilities as well as to open music training courses for youth.
Then, the Union Minister and party cordially met with a total of 87 youths at Thanlyin Youth Training School. During the meeting, he urged all to strive to learn vocational skills, basic primary and out-of-school educations as well as become those who can shoulder national duties in the future.
And, the Union Minister and party viewed around the canteen, dormitories and fulfilled the needs.
