Bilateral Relations: Receiving Ambassador-designate of India to Myanmar

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Ambassador-designate of India to Myanmar Mr. Abhay Thakurat the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.
During the call, cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further consolidation of the existing friendly bilateral relations between the two countries, expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas including bilateral trade, investment and connectivity as well as closer collaboration for maintenance of peace and stability along the border between Myanmar and India.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister also appraised the latest developments of Myanmar.
