Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday called for a "national unity" government in a pre-recorded video statement, warning that a potential coalition between opposition parties and Arab lists would lead to the collapse of the country.

Netanyahu urged all Zionist parties and the national camp to join a broad unity government alongside his outgoing coalition. Netanyahu's outgoing coalition won 53 seats in the 120-seat Knesset, losing its majority.
