On October 15, the ceremony marking the 11th Anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) was held in Nay Pyi Taw, where President U Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Central Committee, delivered a speech via video message.

In his address, the President emphasized the need to recognize that a state does not belong to a single ethnic group alone, but is the collective property of all ethnic peoples residing in that region. He noted that internal armed conflicts have brought only losses and damages to the nation and its ethnic citizens, while severely affecting regional development, education, healthcare, and socio-economic livelihoods. He highlighted that peace is an indispensable foundation for the development of the nation.
