AI chip giant Nvidia would take a minority stake in French medical website Doctolib that plans to use the technology to improve health care, its chief executive Jensen Huang said Tuesday. Doctolib is a private website that allows patients to book appointments with doctors, but has also begun to allow patients to store medical information to more easily share their records.

In August it launched a research program using artificial intelligence to study the data of its 50 million users to improve navigation of the healthcare system. Jensen Huang also said he is preparing to announce $2 billion of investment in European AI startups in Paris on the first leg of a European tour.
