Following Satya Niketan's tragic building collapse on September 6th in India, Delhi civic authorities have begun the process of demolishing an adjacent structure declared dangerous and unfit for habitation. Residents of the compromised building and neighbouring properties have been instructed to evacuate and recover their essential belongings.

According to Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), the unsafe structure will be dismantled within the next 24 to 48 hours. The demolition drive will be carried out manually using light tools rather than heavy machinery, in an effort to minimize structural impact on surrounding buildings.
