Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of President U Min Aung Hlaing, visited Van Phuc Silk Village in Viet Nam on Saturday, during the President’s Office Visit.

She was warmly welcomed by Madame Ngo Phuong Ly, wife of the Vietnamese President, and officials. During the visit, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla toured the Silk Village and learned about traditional Vietnamese silk weaving. She also viewed various silk products displayed at the village.

Van Phuc is one of Viet Nam’s best-known traditional silk villages, with a history of more than 1,000 years. Visitors can learn about the entire silk-making process, from silkworm raising and thread production to weaving, dyeing and finishing. Madame Ngo Phuong Ly later hosted Daw Kyu Kyu Hla with traditional Vietnamese tea.
