Historic Building :Heritage plaque unveiled at historic school building

A heritage plaque was unveiled at Thabye Hall, a 107-year-old colonial-era building at Basic Education High School No. 1 in Magway, on Thursday.

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko attended the ceremony and made a speech. The Chief Minister urged the public to help protect historic buildings and other heritage sites. Thabye Hall is one of 102 colonial-era buildings in Magway Region recognized as historic structures. It is learnt that efforts are being made to preserve the region’s cultural and historical heritage for future generations.
